The Rocky Horror Show Ready To Thrill Chester

DON'T dream it, be it when:- 'The Rocky Horror Show' touches down at the:- Storyhouse, Chester, next month where it promises the biggest and most outrageous party in Town. Featuring an exceptional cast headed by:- Stephen Webb as Dr Frank-N-Furter, The Rocky Horror Show is bursting with energy and unforgettable fun.

Squeaky clean College sweethearts Brad and Janet are on the way to visit their old professor when their car breaks down in a raging thunderstorm. But when they call at the nearby spooky mansion to ask for help, they are instead plunged into an adventure they will never forget; 1 filled with:- fun, frolics, fabulous frocks and frivolity.

Since Richard O'Brien's musical homage to the B-movies of his youth was premiered in London in 1973 it has been seen by more than 35 million theatregoers worldwide and continues to captivate audiences with its flamboyant characters, wild humour, infectious energy and a brilliant soundtrack of songs including:- Dammit Janet, Sweet Transvestite and; of course; the show stopping:- 'Time Warp.;

In 1975 it was turned into a cult film starring Richard O'Brien himself as Riff Raff and Warrington-born Tim Curry as Frank.

Joining Stephen Webb in this acclaimed UK touring production are:-

Completing the cast are Phantoms Jesse Chidera, Nathan Zach Johnson, Tyla Dee Nurden and Bethany Amber Perrins, with on stage swing / dance captain David Peter Brown and on-stage swing/assistant dance captain Lucy Aiston.

The Rocky Horror Show is directed by Christopher Luscombe, with design by Hugh Durrant, costumes by Sue Blaine and choreography by Nathan M Wright. Lighting design is by Nick Richings and sound design by Gareth Owen.

Richard O'Brien's smash hit musical extravaganza comes to the Chester Cultural Centre from:- 30 June to 4 July 2026, as part of a national tour.

Jimeoin unveiled as final major headline act for Southport Comedy Festival

THE 2026 Southport Comedy Festival in association Halliwell Jones Kia Southport has announced its final major headline act for this year's 17 day festival programme.

Festival favourite, Jimeoin, the Irishman from Australia, will return to the festival on:- Tuesday, 6 October 2026, with his brand-new show:- 'Ballyhoo!'

Widely regarded as 1 of the world's finest live stand-up comedians, Jimeoin's cheeky observational humour, brilliantly crafted material and effortless charm have made him a global comedy favourite. From viral online clips viewed by millions to standout appearances on 'Live at the Apollo' or:- 'The Royal Variety Performance,' Jimeoin remains 1 of comedy's most in demand performers.

Tickets for Jimeoin's:- 'Ballyhoo!' go on sale at:- 10am, on:- Friday, 29 May 2026.

Be sure to set your reminder, Jimeoin sells out every year, and this show is expected to be no different.

Jimeoin joins an already stellar line up for the festival's landmark 15th Anniversary celebrations, including:- Jason Manford, Jason Byrne, Clinton Baptiste, Henning Wehn, Gary Delaney, Mike Wozniak, Scott Bennett, Laura Smyth, Seann Walsh, Paul Merton and Suki Webster, and Adam Kay.

The Festival runs from:- 2 October to 18 October 2026, returning for the sixth consecutive year to its luxury, fully seated and heated Elite Events marquee in the scenic surroundings of Victoria Park, home of the world famous Southport Flower Show.
