Rock/Pop at Tower!

Who Said Rock Is Dead?
Night Life at JD Suttons.

The youth were out in force in Southport’s JD Suttons on Saturday, as three local bands rocked the night away to the cheers of bar staff, regulars and fans who came all the way from London to see them play! The only damage from this so - called unruly lot was a window on the girls’ toilets, but as the bar manager said, “It was only an accident that could have happened on any other night.” He also added “The difference being, that it is a rock night. I have to point out that they cleared the up the mess with out us asking and helped to put things correct again. You do not often get this from other non- Rock Nights. We always have them at the end cleaning up after themselves and they do not cause as many problems as some more mainstream nights. When any problem does occur, they help us as a group to fix it, without any fuss!” This is high praise for a section of the nightlife community, who are often regarded in this town as trouble! The night was a huge success and all who went fully enjoyed themselves. Some of them asked us to say, “Thank you to all the bar staff for allowing us to hold this extremely good night and also for all your help and support.”
