Sun out side and inside the nectar of nectars,
REAL ALE!

Over the weekend, well from the Thursday to Sunday... the towns Arts Center was taken over by the Sandgrounders 3 Beer Festival held by Southport's branch of CAMRA.   People from all over the UK came to this festival that offered all types of Ale from over 70 ales and ciders from all around the UK.  One of the members of CAMRA said "Southport's friendly and the local back-street pubs often have a good traditional atmosphere.  This event allows us all to come to gather and sample lost of different types of Ale and also allows people, like my self, who come from Yorkshire to sample the local pubs."

Their was also live entertainment on offer as bands played music also a children's room was available in afternoons so parents could sample in a family atmosphere.
