Opens at last!
After a few
problems at the start the club that use to be known as Club 2000
or the Coliseum is now re-opened under new ownership as Infinity.
The opening night started out slow but soon picked up into a
steady flow. Over all the night was very well attended with plenty
of party hungry punters packing out the dance floor and the bars
filled with smiling faces.
- "The
lighting system is fantastic." said one punter and another
said "I could not wait for it to re-open.
Southport was dead with out this club. It is unlike any
other in the town only the Old Bank comes close to its status as
a landmark for the night time trade in Southport."
The club is aiming
it self at the higher end of Southport's night time community
offering dance music and with strict dress code. The club is
aiming to get a good status with both residents and also with the
punters.
A spokesperson
for the club said "We have had a fantastic opening and
now look forward to the future!"
