On the March for the Queen.

On Sunday in Formby und the Royal British Legion marched through the village and held a service in Holy Trinity Church.

With lightning streaking across the heavy gray sky and the ran lashing down the parade set off from the Royal British Legion on its way to a service of thanks for the queen. On lookers watched from their cars and also sheltering in shop doors.  At the end of the march the rain suddenly ended and the parade went into the newly refurnished Royal British Legion Building for a presentation to the 611 Air Cadets and to the Lord Lieutenant.  MP for Formby was also present and took the salute with the Lieutenant.
