Film review:- Scooby Doo!
I have been watching Scooby now for years now. I am afraid this film is not a match on the cartoons.  Saying that it was really good fun and I would recommend it for any pedant who's kids are just coming out o school and driving you mad!  Director Raja Gosnell has copied the cartoons ham acting and plots that make Prisoner Cell Block H look like a master piece!  Just like the cartoons, except it lacks something....  I just could not put my finger on it, but what the hay, Buffy Fans will be shocked as Buffy turns into helpless as she is kidnapped.    The plot is as bad as ever and does not really take much to work out what is going to happen.    After an unfriendly break up, the Mystery Inc. gang go their own ways, but are soon brought to gather after an island resorts owner tricks them to investigate strange goings on at his theme park.  Soon a sinister plot that really is so thin it is unbelievable, is unearthed by the team and the investigation commences at full steam.
As the true nature of Scooby Doo, to quote the tagline:- "Throughout The Ages, One Hero Has Cowered Above The Rest."    It's a fun film, but shallow and there are too many inside jokes to truly enjoy it to is full potential, if you are an outsider to the Scooby Doo Phenomena. To put it bluntly, if you like the classic cartoons, you'll probably love the film!  If you could not stand them then this is a no go zone, trust me...  Due to that fact it only get a three star rating.
