Dispute the huge success last year, this year the music on Lord Street was only run on 4 weekends.  Strange that Sefton did not back it this year... Dispute the rain and the lack of financial backing the show was a huge success.  It was only thanks to the sponsored, the Town Garden Cafe that the event ran, we discovered from a council employee.  The performances dragged in a huge crowd all of them said it was good, one even said "It is real asset to Southport.  It encourages us to come into the town and shop.  The atmosphere it creates is fantastic and picks up the vibrant nature of the people of Sefton and of Southport.  Well done to the organizers."   One of the performers said "It is a fantastic opportunity to give something to the local community and also to advertise our talents at the same time.  It is a really big asset and ABD Productions have done us proud.  Thank you Bill and Anne and staff....  Also thank you to the Town Garden Cafe!!!"
