Witness appeal after bike stolen from St Helens Central Station

DO you recognise this man? British Transport Police believe he could have vital information about the theft of a grey giant XTC mountain bike from St Helens Central Station on Thursday, 19 February at around 11.45am. Investigating officer PC Dan Armstrong said:- "The owner of the bike had secured it in the racks at St Helens Central station on the Thursday. When he returned to collect it the following Monday he discovered it had gone. 2 men were seen to approach the bike at 11.45am on the Thursday with 1 of them cycling away on the bike. We would urge the man in the image or anyone who recognises him to come forward and contact BTP to help with our investigation." Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on:- 0800 40 50 40, or text:- 61016, quoting reference PSUB/B11 of 06/03/15. Information can also be passed anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers on:- 0800 555 111.
