Serious road traffic collision leaves male cyclist in a critical, but stable condition
MERSEYSIDE Police Officers from the force's Road Policing Team attendance a serious road traffic collision on the East Lancashire Road, Knowsley, on Wednesday, 27 May 2015. The Traffic Officers were called to the East Lancashire Road, at its Junction with Coopers Lane, to reports of a collision between a car and a bicycle. The male cyclist, who is believed to be in his 20's, was been taken to hospital by ambulance with injuries described as critical, but stable. The female driver of the Astra, that was also involved in the collision, stopped at the scene and is assisting Police with their enquiries. Officers are keen to speak with anyone who witnessed this collision and officers are particularly keen to speak with a motorists who stopped immediately after the collision, but left before they spoke with Officers.
