It's a Knockout! £10,000 raised

ON Saturday 5 September, 10 teams from all over Liverpool came to battle it out and try to be crowned champion at the ZoŽ's Place Baby Hospice It's a Knockout! contest. Only one could be crowned with victory and that team wasÖ 'The Village People' who were a team made from members of Merseyside Police and their friends and family.

A fantastic day was had by all and the event is pledged to have raised over £10,000 which is a fantastic amount. The came from far and wide including Griffith and Armour, Local Solutions x 2, Lloyds TSB 500 Club, Santander, Community teams and it wouldn't have been complete without our competitive nurse's team. The weather was on side and it was a real family affair.

ZoŽ's Place Corporate and Events Fundraiser Samantha Lee says:- 'All the teams had so much fun and I am sure screams and laughter could be heard from all around. It is great when the community gets on board with an event like this. We will definitely be running another 1 next year!' adding 'Thank you so much to everyone who took part and sponsored the teams.  If you want to see what we did, we have lots of photographs on Facebook."

For more information about next year's event please call Samantha on:- 0151 228 0353 or 07815 552886. For more information about ZoŽ's Place Baby Hospice please go to:- Zoes-Place.Org.UK/Liverpool.
