FOLLOWING on from the great success of this year's Youth Theatre production of Legally Blonde, the Liverpool Empire's Creative Learning department are looking for great singers, performers and dancers aged:- 14 to 21, to join their performing arts clubs.

This year we are combining the Youth Theatre and Youth Dance Companies to create 1 new company, the Liverpool Empire Youth Musical Theatre Company.  Participants will meet weekly and work with the creative team to create and perform sections of performance from a number of well known musicals as part of a full scale showcase performance to coincide with the Empire Theatres 150th Birthday Celebrations.

Creative Learning Manager Natalie Flynn said:- "Our performing arts groups offer young people of all backgrounds from our community an opportunity to experience what real professional auditions and rehearsals feel like, as well as performing in full-scale musical productions on the prestigious Empire stage. It prepares them for the world of work, particularly within the theatre industry and many of those involved go on to pursue professional careers in performing arts."

Ellie Clayton, who played Elle Woods in the Youth Theatre's production of Legally Blonde, now studies at Royal Central School of Speech AND Drama. Ellie said:- "Being a part of the Youth Theatre Company was amazing, I'm so thankful for all of the support I had from the Creative Team. They believed in me and pushed me to achieve my dreams. Being a part of the Empire's Youth Theatre Company has given me the experience and confidence that helped towards securing my place at Central."

To audition, simply download an application form, from ATGTickets.Com/Liverpool, by clicking on the 'Creative Learning' tab, or emailing then via:- NatalieFlynn@TheAmbassadors.Com.

The Youth Theatre added that:- "Auditions are free! BUT you must complete and return an application by 4pm, on 5 October 2015, to apply. You will be notified after the application deadline of your audition time via email no later than 9 October 2015. Places are strictly limited so we advise getting your application in as soon as possible if you don't want to miss out on what promises to be a very special opportunity."
