Sefton area Bin collections for the festive season

AS most of our readers know, the green wheelie bin collections have now finished and will be suspended until 6 March 2016.  Before we get onto the collection pattern information we have been asked to pass this message on:- "We are asking public and businesses to take care this winter when putting bins out on the road.  If the weather is bad, please do not put the bin in any locations that can be blown over easily or course an obstruction to pedestrians and other road users. If you have neighbours who are particularly vulnerable, please check in on them and ask if they would like you to put bins out and take them in, should snow or ice become a problem in your area. This will not only help them, but also provide them with a bit of security."
