The Hoghton Players and
The Hesketh Bank Silver Band's "Loudly Let The Trumpet Bray"
THE Hoghton Players, Southport's renowned Gilbert and
Sullivan Society announce an exciting collaboration with Hesketh Bank Silver
Band to perform a series of concert showcasing their Joint talents. In this
unique series of events the 2 societies will perform a full concert of
Gilbert and Sullivan's favorites from their beloved Savoy Operas. The
program will feature sections which display the individual talents on both
the Hesketh Bank Silver Bank and the voices of The Hoghton Players both in
ensemble and individually.
The Concert Dates and venues are as follows...
► Saturday, 12 March 2016 at the Leyland Road
Methodist Church, Southport.
► Friday, 18 March 2016 at St Faiths Church,
Crosby.
► Saturday, 19 March 2016 at the Ainsdale
Methodists Church Hall, Ainsdale Southport.
All concerts will start at:- 7:30pm with tickets for each concert at:- £7 a
ticket. Refreshments will be available at all concerts. Advance
