All set for Jess Glynne concert at Aintree Racecourse

MAKE sure you're at Aintree Racecourse, on 16 June 2017, as The Jockey Club Live events welcome back to the North West 1 of the UK's hottest chart stars, Jess Glynne!

Jess Glynne rocketed into the public consciousness as the vocalist on Clean Bandit's Grammy Award winning and #1 hit 'Rather Be'; pop sensation Jess Glynne has since become 1 of the biggest UK breakthrough acts of recent years. Her number 1 charting debut album:- 'I Cry When I Laugh', has turned double platinum in the UK, making it the highest selling debut album of 2016. Jess is also 1 of only 2 British female solo artists to have 5 consecutive UK number 1 singles. 2016 was a further massive year for Jess, with a sold out UK arena tour under her belt, plus she was nominated for British Breakthrough Act, British Female Solo Artist and British Single for 'Hold My Hand' at the prestigious Brit Awards.

Jess Glynne said:- "It's going to be great fun playing Aintree Racecourse, on 16 June 2017, after the races. I love outdoor shows and can't wait to share some summer evenings with my fans!"

Open air concerts, like this 1, at Aintree Racecourse, offers added value for money, along with an experience unlike any other this summer. Alongside show stopping headlining performances by some of the worlds biggest artists, the action kicks off earlier in the day with a 6 race card; giving fans the chance to witness powerful equine athletes who are stars in their own right, and enjoy the thrilling drama and spectacle of them racing for glory.

John Baker, Regional Director for Jockey Club Racecourses North West, said:- "We look forward to welcoming people from Liverpool and beyond to another electric summer of music, at the home of the Randox Health Grand National. We're thrilled to announce that Jess Glynne ‎is to perform at Aintree Racecourse, after a successful and exciting sell out performance at our sister Jockey Club Racecourse, Haydock Park in 2016. Jess is a ‎world renowned music star who has a double platinum selling album and has a fantastic range of hits which I'm sure will wow the crowds at Aintree. We're delighted she will follow 2 exhilarating performances by Sir Tom Jones and Deacon Blue, at Aintree, later in the year."

Tickets are on sale via Jockey Club's Live website. Tickets are priced starting at ₤45 adult /₤15 child (under 18). Please note child tickets are limited. All T&C's are available online. There will be hospitality packages available to suit all budgets.

In addition to Aintree, The Jockey Club Live will be hosting live concerts across Newmarket, Sandown Park, Carlisle, Haydock Park, Wincanton, Epsom Downs and Market Rasen racecourses this summer.

Also did you know that the 2017 will be the 170th running of The Grand National Race and the 1st with Randox Health as sponsor? Also did you know that Aintree Racecourse is part of The Jockey Club, which has been at the heart of British racing for more than 260 years?

Governed by Royal Charter, every penny The Jockey Club makes it puts back into British racing.
