Pet Shop Boys have performed in Manchester, UK

ON Sunday, 19 February 2017, the electronic duo, the Pet Shop Boys headed over the Pennines to Manchester. It is hard to think that these lads started out in 1981 and now have had more than 50 million records sold worldwide! The lads are probably best known for tracks like:- "West End Girls" and "Opportunities (Let's Make Lots of Money)" so you always know that they will deliver a very alternative night, despite them being very retro styled, always seems oddly current!

Our intrepid reporter, who braved the drizzle and splattering of light snow, over the Pennines, got to the stage, at Manchester Arena, on time, but sadly, as the venue was so packed out, even in the official photo section, she could not see over the crowds. But we are told musically the show did not disappoint... We are now left asking, where is Madonna when you need her to help our tog Jump a bit higher??? Please email us your views and thoughts about this very popular event.  Also did you manage to see the stage?  Email us to News24@SouthportReporter.com today!
