Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu visits Formby on last day of Diocese of Liverpool Tour

THE Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, visited Formby Point and St Luke's Church on Saturday, 9 March 2019 in his mission to get bring God into more people's lives. The day started on a very windy Lifeboat Road Car Park, when locals, many from Formby churches of all denominations, met up with the National Trust Rangers to help clean the boardwalk and clear rubbish from the beach at Formby Point. Then, after all had returned to the car park, the Archbishop gave a very engaging and apposite sermon, reflecting on both religion and our stewardship of the planet. A South Liverpool care home has been ordered to pay costs of more than ₤11,000 for breaching a string of fire safety regulations. Man dies after falling from 2nd floor of the Museum of Liverpool

MERSEYSIDE Police have confirmed that the emergency services attended to an incident on Sunday, 3 March 2019, at the Museum of Liverpool. We are told that Police and Paramedics were called to the Museum of Liverpool, at Mann Island, just after 11am, to reports that a man had fallen from the 2nd floor of the Museum's Atrium. UK Hot Cars holds another successful monthly meet in Southport

ON Sunday, 3 March 2019, UK Hot Cars (UKHC) held it's monthly meet on the banks of Southport's Marine Lake. Despite the bad weather, cars and petrol heads still came out to what is a local friendly car community event! At the same time, some of the drivers also took part in the monthly litter collection, that they do when the meet up on the Pier side of the Kings Gardens, better known as the Lower Promenade.
