Get Ready to Jam with Just Radiohead at the WigWam Stage at CarFest presented by bp pulse 2024!

LIVERPOOL and The Wirral based band Just Radiohead are bringing the rock tunes to the WigWam stage at CarFest presented by bp pulse across the upcoming August Bank Holiday Weekend (23 August to 25 August 2024) at Laverstoke Park Farm, Hampshire. Music lovers can head to the WigWam stage located in:- The BarFest Arms, on:- Sunday, 25 August to watch Just Radiohead perform as part of the much-anticipated CarFest music line up.

Punters looking for a lively pub vibe are in for a treat as they can enjoy some of the most talented up and coming live music acts on the WigWam stage, including Just Radiohead. Hosted by Timothy Taylor (one of the UK's oldest breweries), The BarFest Arms is the place to take the weight off your feet and quench your thirst whilst watching a stunning line up of music. Serving award winning Timothy Taylor's cask ales; plus their strikingly refreshing pale ale, Hopical Storm; along with a selection of lagers, wines, spirits and soft drinks, the festival pub provides the perfect pairing for any pint: live music. Festival goers can discover new artists up close and personal, as these rising stars showcase their signature style and energy on the WigWam stage.

Just Radiohead, the UK's premier Radiohead tribute band, hailing from:- Liverpool and the Wirral, will be bringing the mesmerising music of 1 of the nation's most influential bands to life with stunning accuracy and passion on the WigWam Stage at CarFest this summer.

From the explosive post-grunge debut of:- 'Pablo Honey' to the hauntingly beautiful sounds of their most recent art rock album:- 'A Moon Shaped Pool,' Just Radiohead faithfully reproduce each era of Radiohead's career. Their dedication to authenticity ensures that every minor detail is respected, leaving audiences feeling like they've been transported back in time to revel in Radiohead's music once again.

With a back catalogue spanning 4 decades, fans rarely have the opportunity to experience Radiohead's iconic songs live. Just Radiohead have stepped in to fill that void, offering shows of up to 2 hours in duration that allow fans to witness their favourites performed live.

Comprising talented musicians:- Marc Arnam, Ronald Ziegekabine, Shaun Lanceley, Dominic Williams, and Steve Atkinson, Just Radiohead capture the essence of Radiohead's sound and spirit, delivering an unforgettable tribute experience that honours the band's legendary status in the music industry.

Building on the triumph of 2023, CarFest, which was founded by Virgin Radio breakfast presenter Chris Evans, returns this August Bank Holiday (23rd to 25th August) to Laverstoke Park Farm, Hampshire for its 13th year; bringing back its now firmly established and loved 7 magical festivals:- AdventureFest, FoodFest, KidsFest, RetroFest, SpaFest, StarFest and, of course, CarFest, ensuring there's something for everyone.

Since its inception in 2012, CarFest's core mission has been to raise funds for UK children's charities. In 2024, the festival will be supporting:- BBC Children in Need, Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, My Black Dog, Rainbow Trust Children's Charity, Starlight Children's Foundation, Teenage Cancer Trust, Young Epilepsy, and local Hampshire based charity Naomi House and Jacksplace.

Liverpool Leads the Way in Allergy Management

AS National Allergy Awareness Week (22 April to 27 April 2024) St. Hilda's Secondary School in Liverpool has become 1 of the 1st Schools in the City to adopt an anaphylaxis kit provided by Kitt Medical.

The School in South Liverpool has taken proactive steps to ensure the safety and well being of its students by implementing an innovative anaphylaxis kit provided by Kitt Medical, making it 1 of the 1st Schools in the City to do so.

The anaphylaxis kit comprises emergency adrenaline pens, online CPD accredited training, and incident reporting mechanisms, ensuring swift and effective responses to allergy emergencies for students and visitors.

The integration of Kitt Medical's Anaphylaxis Kit, at:- St. Hilda's Primary School, has already proven to be impactful in safeguarding students. As Assistant Head Teacher, Ben Norton says:- "Students can feel safe and secure knowing that we have this provision in School."

Matt Ashton, Director of Public Health at Liverpool City Council says:- "it's fantastic to see this pioneering approach to allergy awareness happening in Liverpool. Not only do these specialised kits offer a fantastic resource for teachers, but they are really important as an awareness raising tool for our young people, giving more understanding of what to look out for when it comes to allergic reactions."
