5th November Fireworks - Hightown

WITHIN the grounds of Hightown St Mary's Cricket Club, the annual Hightown Club Fireworks and Bonfire took place. As normal, the family friendly bonfire and fireworks event was held on November 5 and was yet again a sell out!

As the event got ready for the traditional bonfire lighting, those attending got to enjoy the many hot food stalls, including a sizzling BBQ, along with lots of family activities, which ran throughout the night.

The popular event was full of interesting things to do. Starting the evening, the leading fire and light performing group, Bring the Fire Project, returned with a fabulous Viking fire dancing display!  Then came what everyone was waiting for: a breathtaking firework display.

If you missed the annual Bonfire Night celebrations at the Hightown Cricket Club, please don't miss it next year! We have to say a massive well done goes to all the volunteers from both the club and the local community whose hard work and dedication helped to put on this highly anticipated event, yet again.
