Bad Parking!

This week we have had a lot of complaints about parking.  As everyone knows parking is one of the biggest problems in the town and one of the most controversial issues.  We have been asked by a lot of delivery drivers to remind all of you, including people with disabilities, to think before parking.  The problem facing delivery drivers can be seen here.  A orange badge holder had parked on the corner, (just out of shot) restricting the turn of the delivery vans into the narrow road.  Also, after the driver below skillfully negotiated the very tight turn, he was faced with two non- disabled drivers parked on both sides of the road blocking his path yet further.  This caused a bottle neck that affected the lights at Lord Street!  The driver of this car was nowhere to be seen for a good 30 mins.  So this affected the delivery driver's schedule and the traffic stuck behind him.  So, please take that extra moment to consider and park sensibly. If you must for some genuine reason stop on the double yellow lines, remember they are there for a reason! You might be  causing a problem. Keep an eye on your car, so that you can move it should this happen!
A very skilful driver.
