Southport's Spring Garden Festival!

Southport's Spring garden Festival went ahead as normal despite a huge marquee being flattened by strong winds on April 30th (Monday).  The Bank holiday turned into a glorious success with mainly sunshine and light winds welcoming crowds from as far as Glasgow and Birmingham.  The showground did not show any signs of the damage coursed from the fallen 150 foot by 40 foot marquee.  The marquee had been re-erected and was filled with exhibitors who were showing off to the punters.

All in all the event was fantastic success and every one who went found it one of the most entertaining shows yet.
