Late night services back for
2016
ARRIVA, Stagecoach and Merseyrail will
be running late night buses and trains this festive season to help you get home
easily.
Night buses will be running on the four weekends before Christmas on selected
routes and late trains will be running a limited service to Hooton and Southport
on the 2 weekends before Christmas.
Merseytravel Committee Chair Cllr Liam Robinson, said:- "Late night
services are back for the third year running and by working together we can give
people more choice when it comes to travelling around the Merseyside during the
festive season. We are
encouraging people to plan their journey, have options and check not only travel,
but weather updates too before heading out."
Bus
On Friday nights / Saturday mornings 16 December and 23 December and on Saturday nights /
Sunday mornings on 3 December, 10 December and 17 December late night/early morning buses will be
running from midnight until 4.40am.
► N1* City Centre (Sir Thomas Street) to Chester - Midnight and 1.35am
► N1* City Centre (Sir Thomas Street) to Ellesmere Port - 3.05am
► N1* Chester to Liverpool City Centre - 12.05am and 1.35am
► N1* Chester to Birkenhead - 3.05am
► N10 City Centre (Elliot Street) to Page Moss - 12.40am then every 30 minutes
until 4.40am
► N82 City Centre (Liverpool One Bus Station, stand 10) to Garston - 12.14am then
every 30 minutes until 4.44am
► 86** City Centre (Elliot Street to Penny Lane) -
12.59am then every hour until 4.59am
► 86A** City Centre (Elliot Street to
Liverpool Airport via Penny Lane) 12.29am then every hour until 4.29am
*This bus service runs every Friday and Saturday night throughout the year

Trains
This year Merseyrail is running special late night trains on Friday nights /
Saturday mornings 16 December and 23 December and on Saturday morning/Sunday night 17
December 2016.
► Wirral line - Liverpool Central to Hooton. The train will depart Liverpool
Central, at 12.30am and call at Birkenhead Central, Bebington and Bromborough
► Northern Line - Liverpool Central to Southport. The train will leave Liverpool
Central, at 12.30am and call at Waterloo and Formby
