High Tides and Strong Winds.
The Coastline was battered again this weekend as heavy seas lashed our beach.  The wind picked up on Friday and drove the tide in, pounding the new sea wall. No damage was caused to the wall.  The litterbins however were left out and the waves plucked them off the wall and swept them out to sea.   One passer- by said, "It is stupid!  Why have the bins not been collected?  You would have thought they would have at least moved them the other side of the wall!"   Also out and about were wind surfers, despite the dangers! Photographs taken by by our Editor Patrick of Friday's high tide.
