Local paraglider killed in a crash has been named THE paraglider killed in a crash near to the Royal Birkdale Golf Club has been named Andy Walkden. We are told that he is from Southport and had only recently rediscovered his passion for paragliding. His daughter Kayleigh Worthington and son Aaron Walkden have both told the media that they felt like they were "in a dream" and that it was the most "horrendous time" in their lives, since being given the horrific news.
