Spring Clean At Hightown.

Despite the rain than me (the editor) with a bracken down car, 60 volunteers armed with bin bags, gloves and other tools invaded the beach to clean the River Alts banks. Organized by Mike Carran who is the Chair of High town's Parish Council, the group cleared off the beach 2 industrial skips full of waist. The litter ranged from crisp packets to large plastic drums. The most interesting junk was a Tractor Motor!

The organizers would like to thank Sefton Council's Rangers for their help in collecting the rubbish and providing the skips. They would also like to thank the 20 Children who took part in this success full beach clean!

Watch this space for autumns beach clean and help make a difference to the environment by joining in!   Click here to see more pictures, are you on?
