This popular site is now getting an average of over 2,000 hits a day, double what it was just a few months ago.

Steve Ashcroft, Director of Southport.gb.com Limited, says:

 “The appeal of our site is that it is aimed at local people, we discuss local issues in our lively Website T&C, have competitions with great prizes, a local quiz section, free ads, and, most popular of all, photographs of what is going on in and around Southport are added on a daily basis.”

The site is certainly packed with content, including features from local “virtual experts” such as vets, fitness, technical help, and a wine guide by Dave Smith of Portland Wine Cellars. Southport.gb.com even has its own Privilege Card offering discounts at local businesses that advertise on the website.
